Driving the modernization and growth of a 70-year-old wine institution into a future-ready, multi-format platform

In April 2022, Pascal Schlittler assumed co-leadership of EXPOVINA AG, later taking over as Managing Director, joining forces with investors from AROMA AG.

For over 70 years, Expovina has been Switzerland’s leading wine event platform. Its flagship formats include the iconic wine tastings on the boats of Lake Zurich, the urban wine fair Primavera at Puls 5, and the Expovina Wine Trophy—one of Switzerland’s leading wine competitions since 1983. Together, these events attract more than 70,000 visitors annually.

Today, the company is undergoing a comprehensive transformation. The focus is on modernizing the brand, expanding its portfolio of formats, and strengthening its position as a year-round platform for wine experiences, innovation, and international exchange.

MyCoffeeWorld – Connecting and Powering the Global Coffee Ecosystem (2021 - ongoing)

An investment, consulting, and innovation platform driving growth across startups and established players in the coffee industry

 

Founded in 2021, MyCoffeeWorld has evolved into a platform connecting innovation, business, and networks across the coffee industry.

Originally focused on startups, MyCoffeeWorld now supports both emerging and established companies—combining venture investments with hands-on strategic and operational expertise. The platform covers key business areas, including branding, marketing and sales operations, product development, and customer success.

With a strong focus on single-serve technologies and next-generation coffee solutions, MyCoffeeWorld also delivers consulting services and turnkey projects for roasters, retailers, and industrial partners—enabling innovation, market entry, and scalable growth.

Beyond its core activities, the platform operates a broader ecosystem, including industry insights, patent brokerage, and commercial initiatives—actively shaping the future of the coffee business.

From Strategic Foundation to Operational Handover

SwissFactory.Group was supported throughout its foundational phase, including naming, brand positioning, and the development of the initial website and marketing presence.

A key contribution was the definition and structuring of core business models, including the creation of business model frameworks and charts that became central working tools for the internal teams.

The original homepage and communication concept established a clear, innovation-driven identity, positioning the platform effectively within the Swiss industrial and digital landscape.

Following this successful setup, operational marketing responsibilities were fully handed over to the internal team.

Today, SwissFactory.Group continues its development independently, building on a robust strategic, structural, and brand foundation.

An independent boutique studio driving the evolution of brands, companies, and business models

 

Founded in 2019, Pascal Schlittler Marketing Services GmbH (PS.PARTNERS) is a multidisciplinary, independent boutique studio led by Pascal Schlittler.

Built around the principle of Creative Brand Evolution, PS.PARTNERS serves as the core platform for developing, transforming, and scaling brands and companies. The studio combines strategic thinking with creative execution, supporting clients in positioning, branding, go-to-market strategies, and business development.

Beyond traditional marketing services, PS.PARTNERS plays an active role in long-term strategic projects—such as Mocoffee, Expovina, and MyCoffeeWorld—where it contributes to shaping business models, driving growth, and building sustainable market impact.

Mocoffee – From Spin-off to International Exit (2010 - 2014/15)

Restructuring a legacy business into a scalable global model, culminating in a successful international exit

 

In 2010, Pascal Schlittler co-founded Mocoffee AG together with Éric Favre, the inventor of the Nespresso system. Established as a spin-off of the Monodor Group, the company was created to enable a full restructuring of the group and to develop a new, scalable international business model.

Built from the ground up, Mocoffee combined a clear break from legacy structures with the strategic leverage of existing assets. This approach allowed the company to inherit and capitalize on the Monodor Group’s extensive expertise in coffee capsule technology.

Through a strong dual-branding strategy across both B2B and B2C segments, Mocoffee achieved rapid international growth, with major contract partners worldwide such as Unilever, Vittoria Coffee Australia, Cafés Richard (France), and Coop Switzerland, among others. The company was successfully sold to the renowned Brazilian companies Wine.com.br and Tristao in 2014/15.
